The band formed in 2019 out of the ashes of some buddies who were getting together once a week to jam. The name came about while practicing one day, because all the then current members were over 50 and somebody said if one of them goes down Do Not Resuscitate.

Steve (Echohawk) Clark on Bass and Rick Aldred on Guitar were the founding members of Do Not Resuscitate.  After the decimation from Covid they were determined to find a female lead vocalist/front person. Their patience paid off in 2022 with the addition of Ada Lea a dynamic vocalist. In early 2023 Joe Summers (aka Jay Summz) was added as Lead Guitar player, whom Rick had met by chance in 2018 at the Men's Warehouse in East Mesa. January of 2024 saw the addition of Karl Reichmuth as the drummer. Karl and Rick had played together before in Grove Street, an original rock band out of Mesa.

These Rockers are mostly playing classic rock album cuts seasoned with the right mix of Blues, Funk, Disco, Metal and Country. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses 60’s/70's/80’s/90’s sounds. The listeners will be saying, “Man I haven’t heard that song in a long time” and/or “I haven’t heard it done that way before”.

They remain true to the "spirit" of the songs by having fun doing it the Do Not Resuscitate way. They keep the audience involved in a way that will hopefully make you want to dance, reminisce and have fun.  Currently, the band is working on expanding their current playlist as well as trying to write some new songs.
